Ben Cheng aac3f81657 Prepare upcoming GCC 4.8 release.
o Add -Wno-unused-parameter -Wno-unused-but-set-parameter to suppress
  new warnings.
o Define GCC_COLORS to enable colorful diagnostic messages.
