ShouldSupportSdkVersion() converts min_sdk_version into effective
version before comparison, which discards "preview" version into
"future" version. That caused a weird case like rejecting with error

Prebuilt modules do not provide classesJars containing annotations.
Previously, the monolithic hidden API processing just used classesJars
from all the modules that provided them so when building against
prebuilts would have fewer classesJars than when building against
sources and so would produce different hidden API flags.
This change will generate the monolithic files from both classesJars
and files previously generated from hidden API processing. A fragment
that has performed hidden API processing will contribute its generated
files whereas standalone libraries and fragments which have not
performed hidden API processing will contribute classesJars.

Previously, the rules to perform hidden API encoding were generated
separately to the rules to perform hidden API flag generation. This
change combines them within the (renamed) produceHiddenAPIOutput()
method and makes the paths to the encoded dex files an output of the
generateHiddenAPIBuildActions method alongside the paths to the
generated flag files.
As encoded dex jars are now an output of the produceHiddenAPIOutput()
method which is implemented for both prebuilts and source
bootclasspath_fragment modules that necessitated the prebuilt also
providing paths to encoded dex files. That in turn required updates to
some of the tests to provide dex files from prebuilt_apex modules.
Similarly, as the produceHiddenAPIOutput() method may not be called
for some bootclasspath_fragment modules as they do not yet provide all
the information needed to perform hidden API encoding then it is
necessary to extract the encoded dex files produced by the modules
themselves. That also required a few changes to tests that did not
previously provide dex files.

Previously, copyBootJarsToPredefinedLocations relied on all its
parameters having the same length and the same order. That made it
quite fragile as changes to one of the parameters without corresponding
changes to the other would cause failures. It also combined the
retrieval of the boot dex jars from the modules, handling of missing
boot dex jar files and the generation of the rules to copy the files.
This change separates the retrieval of boot dex jars and handling of
missing files from the copying of those files while at the same time
making the function less fragile by replacing the three ordered
parameters with two maps that shared common keys.

Previously, the monolithic hidden API files, e.g. hiddenapi-index.csv
file, were generated in two steps. First, each module created its own
files using the information in its class jars. Then, the monolithic
files were created by merging those module specific files into a larger
file.
This change switches to generating the monolithic files directly from
the class jar files and bypassing the intermediate files.
In order to ensure that this change did not change the monolithic files

The getBootImageJar function will be removed once the boot image
creation has been moved to the platform_bootclasspath and
bootclasspath_fragment module types. However, the consistency checks
that it performs are still useful so this change moves them out
first.
The ART boot image related checks are now performed in the
bootclasspath_fragment module type. A previous change accidentally
disabled the checks when the contents property was not empty which has
been fixed. Also, the error messages have been tweaked to make it clear
that the art-bootclasspath-fragment is now the source of truth as to
its contents not the configuration.
The framework boot image related checks are now performed in the
platform_bootclasspath module type.

As part of the work to modularize the hiddenAPI processing the
generation of the monolithic hidden API index file needs to be moved
to the platform_bootclasspath module type. Doing that broke the
TestBootDexJarsFromSourcesAndPrebuilts tests which checks the inputs to
the rule that creates that file. Fixing that required added a
platform_bootclasspath module to the test fixture for those tests which
highlighted an issue with the prebuilt_apex module.
Previously, when the prebuilt_apex created apex variants it would use
its own name as the apex variant name, even when that name included the
prebuilt_ prefix. That broke the platform_bootclasspath logic as it was
looking for apex variants for "myapex" but the only ones available were
"prebuilt_myapex".
This change ensures that it always uses the unprefixed name and fixes
the TestNoUpdatableJarsInBootImage to match. This also adds some
improved error reporting in platform_bootclasspath which helped debug
this problem.

Boot jars, updatable boot jars and art apex jars are part of two
separate but related configuration objects, the main Config struct
(actually the nested productVariables struct) and the dexpreopt
specific GlobalConfig. The fields in both are initialized from the same
data in the make config files but handled separately.
Previously each test that used one of the configuration objects would
generally just initialize the one it used. That would make the test
sensitive to the specific configuration object that was used. A
refactoring that change the code from using one configuration object to
the other would cause the test to fail.
Also, some tests would inadvertently create invalid configurations by
setting ArtApexJars without also setting BootJars. While the ability to
create invalid configurations is useful (and there are some tests that
exist to verify the behavior in that case) most tests should not be
using them.
This change simplifies the configuration of the tests and improves
their realism by:
1. Providing a new FixtureConfigureBootJars method that takes a set of
boot jars and sets ArtApexJars, and BootJars in the
dexpreopt.GlobalConfig and BootJars in the product variables too.
2. Providing a new FixtureConfigureUpdatableBootJars method that takes
a set of boot jars and sets UpdatableBootJars in both the
dexpreopt.GlobalConfig and productVariables.
3. Migrating existing tests to use these new methods.
Some tests still use the dexpreopt.FixtureSet...Jars() methods directly,
generally to create invalid configurations.

So far, when a library `libfoo` has `stubs.versions: ["10", "11"]`, then
`shared_libs: ["libfoo"]` is linked to the version 11 of the stub.
This requires the author of `libfoo` to manually update the property
whenever a new version is introduced. Otherwise, clients are not able
to use the newly added APIs because the latest stub is for an old
version.
This change eliminates the need for manual updating. "current" version
is always implicitly added to `stubs.versions`. It is added even when
nothing is set on the property, if `stubs.symbol_file` is set. i.e.
```
cc_library {
name: "libfoo",
stubs: {
symbol_file: "libfoo.map.txt",
// no versions: [...] needed
},
}
cc_library {
name: "a_client",
shared_libs: ["libfoo"],
apex_available: ["myapex"],
min_sdk_version: "29",
}
apex {
name: "myapex",
native_shared_libraries: ["a_client"],
min_sdk_version: "29",
}
```
`a_client` links to the "current" stub of `libfoo` that has all symbols
shown in the map file.
Note that, above doesn't mean that the client has unlimited access to
APIs that are introduced even after the min_sdk_version of the client
(29 in this example). The use of such APIs still has to be guarded with
`__builtin_available` check.

These tests rely on changing the definition of the "libc" module which
is a default module provided by the cc.GatherRequiredDepsForTest()
function. That function is called from within testApexContext() and so
added by default.
Previously, the tests relied on a number of factors to work:
1. All the default cc modules were added to the bp contents that were
passed to testApexContext().
2. testApexContext() passed the augmented bp contents to
TestArchConfig().
3. TestArchConfig() only stored the supplied bp contents in the root
Android.bp file if it did not exist.
So, in order to override the default modules it simply made sure to add
its own Android.bp file into the file system first.
Unfortunately, that does not work with the test fixtures as the default
modules are defined in their own specific paths to avoid conflicting
with each other. To achieve the same effect as previously, i.e. no
default modules, this test uses an emptyFixtureFactory and only adds
preparers for cc and apex build components and ignores the default
module definitions altogether.

Previously, the override mutators were being run before the prebuilt
mutators that did not match the runtime behavior. This change fixes
that ordering.
In the process it broke TestApexWithAppImportsPrefer. That test tries
to verify that an apex that depends on an android_app will use an
android_app_import if that is preferred. Unfortunately, it only worked
because of the incorrect order of the mutators.
The test worked before this change because the prebuilt mutators were
being run after the overridableModuleDepsMutator. That meant that any
dependencies added by that mutator onto source modules could be
replaced by the PrebuiltPostDepsMutator with the preferred prebuilt
module.
Switching the order to match the runtime meant that the prebuilt
mutators were run before the overrides so never had a chance to replace
the dependencies added by the overrides.

Invokes hiddenAPIExtractInformation() on the java_sdk_library_import's
dex implementation jar provided by the deapexer (on behalf of
prebuilt_apex) so that hiddenAPI can extract the information it needs,
if anything, from the dex file.
The dex file provided by deapexer has already had the hiddenapi
information encoded into it so it does not need to do that again.
Usually, it would require a classes implementation jar as well in
order to extract information from UnsupportedAppUsage annotations but
that is not available for a java_sdk_library_import. Fortunately, the
modules that are currently affected by this do not contain any such
annotations. This just uses a public api stubs jar instead.

Previously when an APEX whose min_sdk_version is set is linked to an
external library providing multiple versions of stubs, the
maximum version that is less than or equal to the min_sdk_version was
chosen. For example, if the versions of a library stubs are 28, 29, 30,
and 31, then APEX with min_sdk_version: 29 linked to the version 29 of
the stub.
This was to ensure that the APEX doesn't use any new APIs whose
existence can't be guaranteed.
This however imposes a severe restriction that the APEX can never use
new APIs even when the APIs are actually available: i.e. when the
APEX is running on a newer platform.
With the recent work about unguarded availability, using the future APIs
became much safer. When you use an API that is newer than your
min_sdk_version, the API is automatically declared as a weak symbol
(thus no link error at runtime), while the call to API is guaranteed to
be guarded with the `__builtin_available(...)` macro.
So, there really is no reason to use the old version of the stub. We can
always use the latest version of stub safely.

The dex file provided by deapexer has already had the hiddenapi

This change adds the primary parameter to hiddenAPIExtractInformation()

This change registers the hiddenapi singleton so that hiddenapi
processing is performed as part of
TestBootDexJarsFromSourcesAndPrebuilts so that additional hiddenapi
related tests can be added later.
The hiddenapi singleton uses the BootJars/UpdatableBootJars properties
from productVariables not the dexpreopt.GlobalConfig so this change
makes sure that they are consistent.
Performing hiddenapi processing causes the dex file used in "prebuilt
with source apex preferred" test to be encoded with hiddenapi
information which changes the path in the test.

1) The boot jar to APEX mapping is maintained by the base names for
both of them. When building with prebuilt modules and APEXes, that
means we need to take care to compare them without regard to any

2) VisitAllModules can visit disabled modules and both source and

Insulate tests that exercise code in the java package from having to
register the build components provided by the java package by providing
a single function that registers them all. This follows the pattern
currently used in the cc and rust packages.
This change is in preparation for switching the dex_bootjars singleton
from a singleton, which does not require a module definition in order
to be instantiated, to a singleton module which does. That will require
adding a module definition into java.GatherRequiredDepsForTest() and
this change ensures that the required components will have been
registered in every test.

Currently, when a module is included in an APEX, the dependencies of the
modules are listed in LOCAL_REQUIRED_MODULES of the APEX. There are two
purposes for this:
1) for native dependencies, they are installed to
$(TARGET_OUT)/apex/<apexname> directories which isn't packaged as an
*.img. However, as a side effect of the installation, their symbol files
are placed under $(TARGET_OUT)/symbols directory to aid debugging.
2) to implement the symlink optimization. When the APEX is not
updatable, the dependencies are not included inside the APEX, but
installed directly to /system partition because the same files might be
used outside of the APEX. The files in the APEX are replaced with
symlinks to the system copy.
So far, the module name like "libfoo" was directly used in
LOCAL_REQUIRED_MODULES. This becomes problematic when only a single arch
variant of the module is used by the APEX. The build system will install
both arch variants to the system partition.
This change fixes the problem by appending ":32" or ":64" suffix
when composing LOCAL_REQUIRED_MODULES.

Dexpreopt and boot jars package check all require access to dex
implementation jars created for java_library and java_sdk_library. They
were available when building from source but not when building from
prebuilts, even though they are embedded within the .apex files that
are referenced from prebuilt_apex.
This changes adds support to prebuilt_apex to export the dex
implementation jars and updates java_import to use those exported dex
implementation jars.
In a source build dexpreopt/boot jars package check access the apex (or
platform) specific variant of a java_library, e.g. core-oj, from which
it retrieves the dex implementation jar path.
After this change in a prebuilt build dexpreopt/boot jars package check
behave in the same way except in this case they retrieve the dex
implementation jar path from the apex (or platform) specific variant of
the java_import, e.g. core-oj.
The work to export files from a `.apex` file for use by other modules
is performed by a new `deapexer` module type. It is not used directly
in an `Android.bp` file but instead is created implicitly by
`prebuilt_apex`,
In order to do that this contains the following changes:
* Adds a new `dexapexer` module type to handle the exporting of files
from the `.apex` file.
* Adds an exported_java_libs property to prebuilt_apex to specify the
set of libraries whose dex implementation jars need exporting.
* Creates apex specific variants of the libraries listed in the
exported_java_libs property.
* Adds the set of exported files to the ApexInfo to make them available
to the apex specific variants.
* Prevents the prebuilt_apex variants from being merged together as
they will not be compatible.
* Modifies java_import to use the exported file for variants of a
prebuilt_apex.
* Adds a ninja rule to unpack (using deapexer) the contents of the
prebuilt_apex's apex file, verify that the required files are present
and make them available as outputs for other rules to use.
* Some minor refactorings to support these changes.
* Adds tests to cover prebuilt only, prebuilt with source preferred,
and prebuilt preferred with source.

Rewriting LLNDK dependencies with .llndk suffix requries referencing
a global data structure to determine if a given library is an LLNDK
library and therefore needs the .llndk suffix. References to
global data structures from mutators must be removed to support
incremental Soong analysis. Instead, move the LLNDK stubs rules
into the vendor variant of the implementing cc_library so that
the original name can be used.
As an incremental step, the llndk_library modules are left in
place, and the properties are copied into the cc_library via
the dependency specified by the llndk_stub property. A followup
will move the LLNDK properties directly into the cc_library and
delete the llndk_library modules.
The global list of LLNDK libraries is kept for now as it is used
to generate the vndk.libraries.txt file.
