55e5c9b513 Move system property rules to private
public/property split is landed to selectively export public types to
vendors. So rules happening within system should be in private. This
introduces private/property.te and moves all allow and neverallow rules
from any coredomains to system defiend properties.

c116142d2e Audit binder_call rule for priv_app in update_engine.te
We've moved GMS core to its own domain, and this permission should no
longer be applied to the broader priv_app domain.

Before we delete the rule, we are auditing it to see if any other
privapps need it.

f5ddc0444b Add a new context for property ota.warm_reset
The property is set to inform kernel to do a warm_reset on the next
reboot. This is useful to persist the logs to debug device boot
failures. More details in http://go/rvc-ota-persist-logs.

The property is set to 1 by update_engine after an OTA. And it's set to
0 by update_verifier or vold after we mark the current slot boot
successful.
The property is read by vendor_init. And according to its value,
vendor_init writes a particular sysfs file to schedule a warm reset
on the following reboot.

Without the new context, the denial message says:
[ 13.423163] audit: type=1107 audit(1746393.166:8): pid=1 uid=0 auid=4294967295 ses=4294967295 subj=u:r:init:s0 msg='avc: denied { read } for property=ota.warm_reset pid=0 uid=0 gid=0 scontext=u:r:vendor_init:s0 tcontext=u:object_r:default_prop:s0 tclass=file permissive=0'

a4b3e6f62a dontaudit update_engine access to gsi_metadata_file.
update_engine tries to determine the parent path for all devices (e.g.
/dev/block/by-name) by reading the default fstab and looking for the misc
device. ReadDefaultFstab() checks whether a GSI is running by checking
gsi_metadata_file. We never apply OTAs when GSI is running, so just deny
the access.

Test: no selinux denials

07a99e16e4 update_engine: rules to apply virtual A/B OTA
- /data/gsi/ota/* now has the type ota_image_data_file. At runtime
during an OTA, update_engine uses libsnapshot to talk to gsid
to create these images as a backing storage of snapshots. These
"COW images" stores the changes update_engine has applied to
  the partitions.
If the update is successful, these changes will be merged to the
partitions, and these images will be teared down. If the update
fails, these images will be deleted after rolling back to the
  previous slot.

- /metadata/gsi/ota/* now has the type ota_metadata_file. At runtime
during an OTA, update_engine and gsid stores update states and
information of the created snapshots there. At next boot, init
reads these files to re-create the snapshots.

Beside these assignments, this CL also allows gsid and update_engine
to have the these permissions to do these operations.

5d89abde99 Allow to getattr kmsg_device
These denials occur on boot when android_get_control_file also
changes from readlink() to realpath(), because realpath() will
lstat() the given path.

Some other domains (fastbootd, update_engine, etc.) also uses
libcutils to write to kernel log, where android_get_control_file()
is invoked, hence getattr is added to them as well.

bffe163b13 SELinux policy for new managed system update APIs
We introduced a new API to allow Device Owner to install an OTA file on disk.
This in turn requires system_server to be able to copy the OTA file to a known
OTA file location, call into update_engine to start the installation and let
update_engine to call back to the system_server to deliver any error conditions
asynchronously. This CL modifies the SELinux policy to allow these interaction.

5e37271df8 Introduce system_file_type
system_file_type is a new attribute used to identify files which exist
on the /system partition. It's useful for allow rules in init, which are
based off of a blacklist of writable files. Additionally, it's useful
for constructing neverallow rules to prevent regressions.

Additionally, add commented out tests which enforce that all files on
the /system partition have the system_file_type attribute. These tests
will be uncommented in a future change after all the device-specific
policies are cleaned up.

Test: Device boots and no obvious problems.

9b2e0cbeea sepolicy: Add rules for non-init namespaces
In kernel 4.7, the capability and capability2 classes were split apart
from cap_userns and cap2_userns (see kernel commit
8e4ff6f228e4722cac74db716e308d1da33d744f). Since then, Android cannot be
run in a container with SELinux in enforcing mode.

This change applies the existing capability rules to user namespaces as
well as the root namespace so that Android running in a container
behaves the same on pre- and post-4.7 kernels.

This is essentially:
  1. New global_capability_class_set and global_capability2_class_set
     that match capability+cap_userns and capability2+cap2_userns,
     respectively.
  2. s/self:capability/self:global_capability_class_set/g
  3. s/self:capability2/self:global_capability2_class_set/g
  4. Add cap_userns and cap2_userns to the existing capability_class_set
so that it covers all capabilities. This set was used by several
neverallow and dontaudit rules, and I confirmed that the new
     classes are still appropriate.

Test: diff new policy against old and confirm that all new rules add
      only cap_userns or cap2_userns;
Boot ARC++ on a device with the 4.12 kernel.

4a478c47f4 Ban vendor components access to core data types
Vendor and system components are only allowed to share files by
passing open FDs over HIDL. Ban all directory access and all file
accesses other than what can be applied to an open file:
stat/read/write/append.

This commit marks core data types as core_data_file_type and bans
access to non-core domains with an exemption for apps. A temporary
exemption is also granted to domains that currently rely on
access with TODOs and bug number for each exemption.

09d13e734d Switch Boot Control HAL policy to _client/_server
This switches Boot Control HAL policy to the design which enables us
to conditionally remove unnecessary rules from domains which are
clients of Boot Control HAL.

Domains which are clients of Boot Control HAL, such as update_server,
are granted rules targeting hal_bootctl only when the Boot Control HAL
runs in passthrough mode (i.e., inside the client's process). When the
HAL runs in binderized mode (i.e., in another process/domain, with
clients talking to the HAL over HwBinder IPC), rules targeting
hal_bootctl are not granted to client domains.

Domains which offer a binderized implementation of Boot Control HAL,
such as hal_bootctl_default domain, are always granted rules targeting
hal_bootctl.

P. S. This commit removes direct access to Boot Control HAL from
system_server because system_server is not a client of this HAL. This
commit also removes bootctrl_block_device type which is no longer
used. Finally, boot_control_hal attribute is removed because it is now
covered by the hal_bootctl attribute.

Test: Device boots up, no new denials
Test: Reboot into recovery, sideload OTA update succeeds
Test: Apply OTA update via update_engine:
      1. make dist
      2. Ensure device has network connectivity

606d2fd665 te_macros: introduce add_service() macro
Introduce the add_service() macro which wraps up add/find
permissions for the source domain with a neverallow preventing
others from adding it. Only a particular domain should
add a particular service.

Use the add_service() macro to automatically add a neverallow
that prevents other domains from adding the service.

mediadrmserver was adding services labeled mediaserver_service.
Drop the add permission as it should just need the find
permission.

Additionally, the macro adds the { add find } permission which
causes some existing neverallow's to assert. Adjust those
neverallow's so "self" can always find.

Test: compile and run on hikey and emulator. No new denials were
found, and all services, where applicable, seem to be running OK.

cc39f63773 Split general policy into public and private components.
Divide policy into public and private components. This is the first
step in splitting the policy creation for platform and non-platform
policies. The policy in the public directory will be exported for use
in non-platform policy creation. Backwards compatibility with it will
be achieved by converting the exported policy into attribute-based
policy when included as part of the non-platform policy and a mapping
file will be maintained to be included with the platform policy that
maps exported attributes of previous versions to the current platform
version.

Eventually we would like to create a clear interface between the
platform and non-platform device components so that the exported policy,
and the need for attributes is minimal. For now, almost all types and
avrules are left in public.

Test: Tested by building policy and running on device.
